Some of you may know this already but I won the Cosplay City Cup at Cartoomics in Milan. I was colon capital O when they called my name.
I cosplayed Alicia and Silmeria from Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria for the competition.

In a little over 2 weeks I will be heading to Iberanime (www.iberanime.com/2013/) in Lisbon as a guest and to take part in the Cosplay World Masters qualifer (www.cosplayworldmasters.com/20…). I will also be running a couple of panels which will be most likely on:
1. Wigs
2. The construction of the Chocobo
Now I'd been invited to Iberanime and CWM before the CCC in Milan took place but my attendance at Iberanime hadn't been officially announced at that time and I had to keep it hush hush. My original intention, because of teh tight deadline, had been to wear my Valkyrie Profile Cosplay for the Cosplay World Masters so that I didn' destroy mysel fmy making another speed cosplay immediately after Silmeria, but then I hadn't expected to win in Milan! I have a philosophy whereby if I have won an award with a cosplay then I don't compete in it again as I feel that costume has had its fair share of luck. Unfortunately for me that philosphy means that I'm now in the same position I was before Milan and I am furiously putting together another new cosplay with a deadline of 13 April.
